New Method Race Wheels 313 Flow Formed Wheels for Toyota Tacoma & 4Runner

And TheYotaGarage is proud to announce that we now carry this new wheel for the Toyota 4Runner and Tacoma.  The 313 brings cutting edge Flow Formed technology, a lightweight yet stronger construction and a new gloss titanium finish to the Street Series wheel lineup.

The Method Race Wheels 313 Flow Formed wheels are available for the Toyota Tacoma and Toyota 4Runner in the 17x8.5 / 0mm Offset / 4.75" Backspacing  and 17.85 / +25mm Offset / 5.80" Backspacing size configurations. The 17” 313 wheel weighs a feathery 24.7lbs.  The Flow Formed construction helps cut down on weight while the solid A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment material maintains rigidity and overall strength.

	What is Method Race Wheels Flow Formed Design?
	The wheel starts as a low-pressure casting with extra formable barrel material. It is then mounted to a flow forming lathe.
	As the wheel spins, heat is applied while shaping discs press down on the barrel to the desired width.
	The flow forming process gives the barrel more of a dense grain structure resulting in a wheel that is lighter and strong than a low pressured cast wheel.

While ripping up trails,  back roads or hopping curbs at the mall with your Toyota Tacoma or 4Runner,  you’ll be happy to know that both the inner and outer bead seats are knurled to ensure the tire won’t shift on the wheel due to changes in air pressure or extreme forces.  Innovative barrel strengthening ribs are molded during the flow forming process help increases radial rigidity.

To further weight savings, the 313 is has machined pockets in each spoke window. A debossed METHOD logo on outer lip & a carbon fiber MRW snap-in center cap with Flow Formed logo compliment the outer lip without faux beadlocks.
