2017 4Runner Pedal Commander

Received the Pedal commander this morning, installation was under 15 minutes, longest part was deciding where to mount the controller. This thing is awesome, the Sport+ mode make the 4Runner feel like a race suv! lol, highly recommended.

Worth it for the 4Runner

My 4Runner 2016 has 45,000 miles and consistently gets 19.2 mpg. After installing the commander I set it for sport and +2. After 1 week my average is 20.2 mpg. Not a hugh gain but considering performance has jumped significantly I'm a happy camper! Again this is onsport mode. I picked sport mode because I was completely fed up with lack of engine response and want to see how much could improve. So mileage was not a consideration for purchase. I haven't tried eco mode yet.
Price is high for something so small and should cost less, but I would purchase again if I had to.
Last follow instructions if you have keyless bobs get them far away as instructed and I would wrap in foil if you are not sure until install is complete.

2016 4Runner

Even stock my T4R was lacking throttle response, and just felt like a pig. This got worse with a steel front/rear bumpers, tent, overland/camping accessories. And especially with bigger tires. I was skeptical that this little gadget would do anything, however I was pleasantly susprised with the improved throttle response, and the Sport mode makes the truck feel like it should've from the factory. While this doesn't increase horsepoer it helps with the delivery. I also tried the ecomode which gave me about 1 extra mpg, however that's with city driving and I tent to have a heavy foot. Will need to test it on a road trip. Thanks for hte quick shipping
