B4 Toyota GR Yaris & GR Corolla Map Guide:

Map 0: Disables JB4 all together
Map 1: +3.5 psi, default map. Suggested for 91+ octane.
Map 2: +4.0 psi, 91-93 octane
Map 3: +4.5 psi, 93+ octane
Map 4: +5.0 psi, 30% E85
Map 5: +6.0 psi, 30% E85 or race gas
Map 6: User Adjustable Custom Tuning Map
Map 7: +9.0 psi, 30% E85 or race gas, full send mode!
Map 8: VALET/Low Boost Map

Wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS and Android device via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or to your Windows laptop with the BMS data cable. Both options allow you to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change JB4 performance maps, and update JB4 firmware as we release free newer versions with updates, more powerful maps, and new features under development. JB4 (GR Corolla) Nails it!!

Was going back and forth between Limit +1 Tune on (Stock) GR Corolla. Went with the Jb4 because similar performance, cheaper, change maps on the fly and no flash issues if engine bites it.

Easy install, just take your time, follow instructions, and use zip ties to clean things up and secure it in the engine bay.

Could tell is was working on map 1, increased boost showed on the gauges in the app (25 PSI), kept driving and testing (I have both 93 and E85 available where I live). As I became familiar with the behavior I’d move up to the next map. Liked map. 3 a lot (93+) but I LOVE Map 4 (E30)!!!

So Much mid range punch at 5000rpm, seeing 29 PSI on map 4 at that RPM. And you FEEL IT. Stock I felt as though I was waiting on the car to accelerate, now it’s “Woah, wait, where you going” while the car is off to the races. 5th gear is a JOY NOW, low RpM, revels increasing slowly due to gearing, BIG TORQUE!! And the thing just pulls and pulls!

Very happy with the purchase, don’t think I’ll get a standalone tune. DO GET BLUETOOTH!! (Amazing to change maps, log the engine on the fly from your phone)

(If E85 isn’t available, I just drop to map 3 until I can get some, very handy!)

Highly Recommended if you are targeting below 330WHP. (If not, you should probably get the Limit+1 Tune but make sure to get your valve springs done FIRST!)
