When you need to haul large items, just fold the cover toward your cab and secure it in place with the supplied prop rods. The prop rods rest in an improved rail clip when not in use and upgraded cab bumpers prevent the cover from scuffing your paint.

The tonneau cover is good quality. I had a little trouble understanding the install of the railing at first. I was able to figure it out by YouTubing on line. I’m very satisfied. Thank you,TheyotaGarage! I plan to order again in the near future.

Written Instructions vague

Successfully installed the MX4 on my 2024 Tacoma Sport...although not without a couple assembly/disassembly processes in the middle. Turns out the written instructions are rather vague and ambiguous as to where SPECIFICALLY the brackets go that will lead to successful install. I figured it out, interpolating what I did have to go on, and using a bright light to show me what the construction "should be" while lying on my back in the bed. Once figured out, no worries. Very sturdy, and the result is exactly what I expected and wanted. Take your time.

Wanted a hard cover that wouldn’t be easily broken into and love that it’s low profile. Great quality and was easy to install. Already gained 1.3 mpg in only 160 miles driven since installing it, and it looks great on my new Tacoma.
